Can you wallpaper a bathroom? Yes – here is how
The right paper, adhesive and placement for steamy rooms.
Bathrooms and cloakrooms are some of the most rewarding rooms to wallpaper. The key is choosing the right materials and keeping paper away from direct water.
Choose a robust paper
Our Premium paper is scrubbable and our Luxe paper is heavyweight – both cope well in well-ventilated bathrooms. Use a fungicidal adhesive suitable for non-woven papers.
Ventilation matters
An extractor fan or opening window lets moisture escape and keeps seams secure.
Where not to paper
Avoid the inside of showers and the area directly behind taps. Use tiles or glass splashbacks there and wallpaper above or around them.
