How our 'See it on your wall' camera feature works – and how to get the most realistic preview.
Choosing wallpaper from a small swatch is hard. That is why we built a camera preview into Design Your Own.
How it works
- Take a photo of your wall (or use your phone's live camera).
- Drag the four numbered corners to the corners of the wall.
- Enter the real width and height so the pattern is shown at true scale.
- We warp the pattern into perspective and keep your room's shadows and lighting.
- Use the 'protect objects' brush to keep furniture in front.
Tips for a realistic result
- Shoot in daylight, standing square to the wall.
- Include the whole wall with a little ceiling and floor.
- Turn the shading slider up for textured or unevenly lit walls.
