Black & White Wallpaper for Kitchens
Wallpaper in kitchens adds personality to a room dominated by hard surfaces. Choose a scrubbable paper and keep it away from direct splashes behind hobs and sinks.
Black and white wallpaper is graphic, timeless and surprisingly easy to style.
Our edit of 66 original designs includes arch, atomic star, bamboo trellis, boomerang, chevron, confetti and more. Highlights from the edit include Edmund Painted Spot, Trevose Pastoral Toile, Mayfair Interlocking Circle.

Styling tips
- Add one accent colour – yellow, green or red – for a contemporary edge.
- A breakfast nook or dining end of the kitchen is the ideal spot.
How much will I need?
A typical kitchen wall of about 3.0 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 6 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 2 rolls – from £88.40 on Standard paper to £145.08 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Will black & white wallpaper work in my kitchen?
Add one accent colour – yellow, green or red – for a contemporary edge. A breakfast nook or dining end of the kitchen is the ideal spot.
Are your designs original?
Yes. Every pattern is an original Wallpaper Kingdom artwork created in-house; we do not reproduce other designers' work.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure the width of each wall and the height from skirting to ceiling. Our rolls are 52 cm wide and 10 m long. Use the roll calculator on every product page – it accounts for the pattern repeat and recommends one spare roll.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes. Every design is available as a free A4 sample so you can check colour and scale in your own light before you order.
