Black & White Wallpaper for Living Rooms
The living room is where most people start with wallpaper. A feature wall behind the sofa or across the chimney breast gives an instant focal point without overwhelming the space.
Black and white wallpaper is graphic, timeless and surprisingly easy to style.
Our edit of 146 original designs includes arch, atomic star, banana leaf, baroque damask, blooms, boomerang and more. Highlights from the edit include Trerice Willow Court, Mayfair Interlocking Circle, Arlington Skyline Ziggurat.

Styling tips
- Add one accent colour – yellow, green or red – for a contemporary edge.
- Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
How much will I need?
A typical living room wall of about 4.2 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 9 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
