Dark & Moody Metallic Geometric Wallpaper for Living Rooms
Metallic geometrics use mica- and foil-effect inks to draw lattices, rings and frets that shimmer as the light moves across the wall.
The living room is where most people start with wallpaper. A feature wall behind the sofa or across the chimney breast gives an instant focal point without overwhelming the space.
Dark and moody wallpaper makes rooms feel cocooning and dramatic, and paradoxically can make small rooms feel larger as the corners recede.
Our edit of 19 original designs includes foil scale, gilded honeycomb, gilt arcade, greek key fret, interlocking rings, lattice diamond. Highlights from the edit include Wrest Foil Scale, Quenby Gilt Arcade, Felbrigg Lattice Diamond.

Styling tips
- Echo the metal in lamp bases, picture frames or door furniture for a tailored look.
- Use warm lamps rather than overhead light to make dark walls glow.
- Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
- Small spaces like cloakrooms and halls are made for a little glamour.
How much will I need?
A typical living room wall of about 4.2 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 9 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
