Multicolour Wallpaper for Bedrooms
Bedrooms are the perfect place to experiment because they are private and lived in mostly at night. A papered wall behind the bed acts like an oversized headboard.
Multicolour wallpaper is pure joy – a ready-made palette for the whole room.
Our edit of 170 original designs includes balloon party, bamboo trellis, baroque damask, blooms, blossom branch, briar rose and more. Highlights from the edit include Tamsin Starry Sky, Sheldon Scattered Leaf, Everly Balloon Party.

Styling tips
- Pull two or three colours out for cushions, rugs and paint.
- Calming palettes and organic patterns help bedrooms feel restful.
How much will I need?
A typical bedroom wall of about 3.6 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 7 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Will multicolour wallpaper work in my bedroom?
Pull two or three colours out for cushions, rugs and paint. Calming palettes and organic patterns help bedrooms feel restful.
Can I see the wallpaper on my own wall before buying?
Yes. In Design Your Own, take or upload a photo of your wall, drag the four corners into place and we will render the pattern onto your wall in perspective.
Are your designs original?
Yes. Every pattern is an original Wallpaper Kingdom artwork created in-house; we do not reproduce other designers' work.
Is your wallpaper paste-the-wall?
All Wallpaper Kingdom papers are non-woven and paste-the-wall, so they are quicker to hang and dry-strippable when you want a change.
