Neutral & Beige Wallpaper for Living Rooms
The living room is where most people start with wallpaper. A feature wall behind the sofa or across the chimney breast gives an instant focal point without overwhelming the space.
Neutral wallpaper adds pattern and depth while keeping a room light and adaptable.
Our edit of 249 original designs includes arch, atomic star, banana leaf, baroque damask, blooms, blossom branch and more. Highlights from the edit include Cambrey Rainforest, Quincy Woodland Vine, Hadley Arch.

Styling tips
- Layer textures – linen, wool, oak – so neutrals never feel flat.
- Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
How much will I need?
A typical living room wall of about 4.2 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 9 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Will neutral & beige wallpaper work in my living room?
Layer textures – linen, wool, oak – so neutrals never feel flat. Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
Which paper should I choose for a bathroom or kitchen?
Choose Premium (scrubbable) or Luxe and make sure the room is well ventilated. Avoid areas of direct water contact such as inside showers.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure the width of each wall and the height from skirting to ceiling. Our rolls are 52 cm wide and 10 m long. Use the roll calculator on every product page – it accounts for the pattern repeat and recommends one spare roll.
Can I change the colours of a design?
Yes – open any design in our Design Your Own tool to change colours, scale and layout, then order it made to measure for your wall.
