Toile de Jouy took its name from the French village where printed cottons with pastoral scenes were produced in the 1700s. Single-colour vignettes give rooms a gentle, storybook rhythm.

A typical bedroom wall of about 3.6 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 7 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.

Choose Premium (scrubbable) or Luxe and make sure the room is well ventilated. Avoid areas of direct water contact such as inside showers.
