How to choose pattern scale for wallpaper
Quick answer
Pattern repeat is the distance before the design repeats. Smaller repeats (around 26 cm) read as texture from a distance and waste less paper; larger repeats (64–91 cm) make a bigger statement and need a wall wide and tall enough to show at least one full repeat. Our product pages list the repeat for every design.
Waste
Larger repeats mean longer drops and fewer drops per roll, so you may need more rolls.

Questions & answers
Do large patterns suit small rooms?
They can – a large pattern in a small room is dramatic. Make sure at least one full motif is visible.
