Non-woven vs vinyl vs paper wallpaper explained

Quick answer

Non-woven wallpaper is made from a blend of natural and synthetic fibres, is dimensionally stable, paste-the-wall and dry strippable. Vinyl wallpapers have a plastic surface layer that is very wipeable but less breathable. Traditional paper wallpapers are pasted on the back, can stretch when wet and usually need soaking to remove.

Which do we use?

All Wallpaper Kingdom designs are printed on non-woven bases: Standard (smooth matt), Premium (textured, scrubbable) and Luxe (heavyweight, linen-effect).
