Dark & Moody Abstract Wallpaper Feature Wall Ideas
Abstract wallpaper brings the energy of contemporary art to a whole wall – brushstrokes, organic shapes and painterly washes.
A single feature wall lets you enjoy a bold design while keeping the rest of the room calm and painted.
Dark and moody wallpaper makes rooms feel cocooning and dramatic, and paradoxically can make small rooms feel larger as the corners recede.
Our edit of 10 original designs includes brushstroke, line & dot, organic shapes, watercolour wash. Highlights from the edit include Tudor Brushstroke, Dibley Organic Shapes, Tilden Organic Shapes.

How much will I need?
A typical feature wall wall of about 3.5 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 7 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
