Dark & Moody Abstract Wallpaper for Home Offices

Abstract wallpaper brings the energy of contemporary art to a whole wall – brushstrokes, organic shapes and painterly washes.

A papered wall gives video calls a stylish backdrop and makes a work corner feel deliberate rather than temporary.

Dark and moody wallpaper makes rooms feel cocooning and dramatic, and paradoxically can make small rooms feel larger as the corners recede.

Our edit of 14 original designs includes brushstroke, line & dot, organic shapes, watercolour wash. Highlights from the edit include Baxter Watercolour Wash, Tamsin Line & Dot, Tudor Brushstroke.

Styling tips

  • Let a single colour in the abstract guide your art, cushions and ceramics.
  • Use warm lamps rather than overhead light to make dark walls glow.
  • Mid-scale geometrics and botanicals are easy to work alongside without distraction.
  • A wonderful way to add personality to modern living rooms and studies.

How much will I need?

A typical home office wall of about 3.0 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 6 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 2 rolls – from £88.40 on Standard paper to £145.08 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.

Make it your own

Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
