Dark & Moody Tropical Wallpaper for Bathrooms
Tropical wallpaper turns any room into a holiday. Oversized palm and banana leaves create depth and a lush, enveloping canopy.
Well-ventilated bathrooms can absolutely be wallpapered. Use our Premium or Luxe paper with a suitable adhesive and avoid direct water contact zones.
Dark and moody wallpaper makes rooms feel cocooning and dramatic, and paradoxically can make small rooms feel larger as the corners recede.
Our edit of 34 original designs includes banana leaf, island botanica, jungle leaf, monsoon leaf, palm leaf, paradise fronds and more. Highlights from the edit include Orchard Jungle Leaf, Hammond Jungle Leaf, Plas Island Botanica.

Styling tips
- Go all-in with rattan, cane and terracotta, or tame the jungle with crisp white woodwork.
- Use warm lamps rather than overhead light to make dark walls glow.
- Small bathrooms and cloakrooms are perfect for bold pattern.
- Large-scale tropical repeats need space to breathe: living rooms, landings and bathrooms are perfect.
How much will I need?
A typical bathroom wall of about 2.4 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 5 drops. With a 64 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 2 rolls – from £88.40 on Standard paper to £145.08 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
