Kids Wallpaper for Bedrooms
Children's wallpaper should be gentle enough to sleep beside and fun enough to inspire stories.
Bedrooms are the perfect place to experiment because they are private and lived in mostly at night. A papered wall behind the bed acts like an oversized headboard.
Our edit of 58 original designs includes balloon party, cloud nine, little rainbows, starry sky. Highlights from the edit include Tamsin Starry Sky, Everly Balloon Party, Penrose Cloud Nine.

Styling tips
- Choose designs with a grown-up colour palette so the room can evolve as your child grows.
- Calming palettes and organic patterns help bedrooms feel restful.
- Use on one wall behind the cot or bed and keep the rest calm.
How much will I need?
A typical bedroom wall of about 3.6 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 7 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Is kids wallpaper a good choice for a bedroom?
Use on one wall behind the cot or bed and keep the rest calm. Calming palettes and organic patterns help bedrooms feel restful. We currently have 58 kids designs suited to bedrooms.
Is your wallpaper paste-the-wall?
All Wallpaper Kingdom papers are non-woven and paste-the-wall, so they are quicker to hang and dry-strippable when you want a change.
Are your designs original?
Yes. Every pattern is an original Wallpaper Kingdom artwork created in-house; we do not reproduce other designers' work.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure the width of each wall and the height from skirting to ceiling. Our rolls are 52 cm wide and 10 m long. Use the roll calculator on every product page – it accounts for the pattern repeat and recommends one spare roll.
