Styling tips
- Teak furniture, mustard and teal accents and globe lighting complete the look.
- Choose the wall your eye falls on first as you enter the room.
- Use on a single living-room wall behind a sideboard for maximum retro impact.
How much will I need?
A typical feature wall wall of about 3.5 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 7 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Is mid-century wallpaper a good choice for a feature wall?
Use on a single living-room wall behind a sideboard for maximum retro impact. Choose the wall your eye falls on first as you enter the room. We currently have 47 mid-century designs suited to feature walls.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure the width of each wall and the height from skirting to ceiling. Our rolls are 52 cm wide and 10 m long. Use the roll calculator on every product page – it accounts for the pattern repeat and recommends one spare roll.
Can I see the wallpaper on my own wall before buying?
Yes. In Design Your Own, take or upload a photo of your wall, drag the four corners into place and we will render the pattern onto your wall in perspective.
Is your wallpaper paste-the-wall?
All Wallpaper Kingdom papers are non-woven and paste-the-wall, so they are quicker to hang and dry-strippable when you want a change.
