Multicolour Wallpaper for Living Rooms
The living room is where most people start with wallpaper. A feature wall behind the sofa or across the chimney breast gives an instant focal point without overwhelming the space.
Multicolour wallpaper is pure joy – a ready-made palette for the whole room.
Our edit of 175 original designs includes arch, atomic star, banana leaf, baroque damask, blooms, blossom branch and more. Highlights from the edit include Stafford Diamond, Sheldon Scattered Leaf, Ulva Interlocking Circle.

Styling tips
- Pull two or three colours out for cushions, rugs and paint.
- Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
How much will I need?
A typical living room wall of about 4.2 m wide × 2.4 m high needs 9 drops. With a 53 cm pattern repeat you get 3 drops per 10 m roll, so you would order 3 rolls – from £132.60 on Standard paper to £217.62 on Luxe. Use the calculator on any product page for your exact walls.
Make it your own
Every design in this edit can be recoloured, rescaled and previewed on a photo of your own wall in Design Your Own, then printed made-to-measure.
Frequently asked questions
Will multicolour wallpaper work in my living room?
Pull two or three colours out for cushions, rugs and paint. Measure each wall separately and include alcoves; our calculator adds the pattern repeat for you.
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Measure the width of each wall and the height from skirting to ceiling. Our rolls are 52 cm wide and 10 m long. Use the roll calculator on every product page – it accounts for the pattern repeat and recommends one spare roll.
Is your wallpaper paste-the-wall?
All Wallpaper Kingdom papers are non-woven and paste-the-wall, so they are quicker to hang and dry-strippable when you want a change.
Can I see the wallpaper on my own wall before buying?
Yes. In Design Your Own, take or upload a photo of your wall, drag the four corners into place and we will render the pattern onto your wall in perspective.
